Well, as no one has actually bid on it I would say that it probably isn't worth that much. Perhaps the guy selling it pressed the zero button once too many times. Laughing

Well it could be an ex-GP bike, so that would make it expensive. That does seem a bit OTT though

Unless its been in an actual GP i cant see it being worth anywhere near that much, Tippets has an ex BSB Blade for £14,000 ish.. which is a lot better than that RG. If he does want that much for it i wish him all the luck in the world in getting a single bid Very Happy

The NSR500 that Keith posted up a little while ago was "only" around £40k, and I definately know which bike I'd go for if I had some green to burn Smile.

I suspect they are looking for a higher price due to the 'classic' status.

If your gonna pay out £60,000 and you have that type of money you might aswell spend the extra £40,000 and get a proper world super bike or you could just get a petronas FP-1 and keep the spare cash for a year's repairs and maintenace. Laughing

Hi

Suspect it depends on the history of the bike. If it has been raced successfully by a known name then the price is probably quite reasonable. If it is just a production 500 race bike (that Suzuki produced in reasonable number for the GP wanabees to race on) then it is probably quite overpriced

All the best

Keith
