Just thought I'd share this little wondrous escapade:
I went out to Maplins, to pick up a lead that was needed for work. Got utterly drenched on the way, so I thought "I know, I only live down the road, so I'll go get changed into some waterproofs". Off I toddle, get home, get changed, and think that it'll be a nice (ish) short ride back to work.
Not only had the rain gotten a whole shedload heavier, and the van drivers a whole load more mental, but I discovered that my waterproofs aren't as waterproof as all that. Actually, they leak like a complete mofo around the crotch, making it look like I've got no bladder control, and have been on a crash course of diuretics for the past four days.
So. I get to my office, reach for the spare pair of £3 tesco uber-cheapy el-crapola jeans that I bought for just such an event. However, as I'm taking the label off, I notice something.
Where I thought it said 38, it actually says 'Size 18'. This can, of course, only mean one thing. I'm now wearing a pair of women's jeans, have slightly damp boxers (oo-er), and am in a foul mood, with an office full of dripping clothes.
I'm supposed to be picking my Mrs up from work a bit later on, but I'm honestly considering telling her that the train would be the best idea.

Anyone else having a bit of a futile day?

Sun is shining, painted my mum's fence, wearing male jeans. Can't complain.

I wouldn't get too excited, you folks with your dry weather: the rain is heading northwest, and you're gonna get it. The worst thing is that it's dirty French rain, too.
For the meantime, though, you're all gits. Laughing

Hmm, does mine compare? Nope. I'm having a bad day but nothing compares to wearing women's jeans. Just be grateful they weren't size 12, then you'd be screwed Mr. Green

Cheers

38? Ya tubby f*cker. Wink

Yeah, my brother has uninstalled stuff from my PC thinking he was helping. (I hadn't pressed the 'next' button for a reason!) I then had to 'run around' the internet to find the stuff again to download. I'm getting pissed off restarting the PC due installing and uninstalling things.

I've run around for what turned out to be no bloody reason.

On a brighter note - I am wearing size 34 mens jeans and I'm dry. Laughing

To be honest, I'm surprised that they're not more uncomfortable. I tihnk there's lot to be said for the fact since they cost £3, the 'designers' were aiming more for the "well, it's for a biped" than "ladies taper in here, and curve out here".

As for being a tubby so and so, yep, you're totally right. It's mainly due to riding motorbikes, and leaving the pushbikes be. I need to get back on the pushbike, if I'm to be slim and beautiful again...

Arrived home soaking wet to my very skin from the waist down as I was stupid enough to wear jeans on the ride in to work, my penis was considerably reduced in stature by this ordeal.

Getting out of London on the A13 was a royal pain this evening. Tailbacks for a good few miles so nice wet sloppy filtering fun to be had. All ended with some guy who was with the police in the middle of the road for some unknown reason, so everything was being diverted around him. Not to mention the sheer amount of spilt fuel all over the road for miles. Big rivers of it, I kid you not.

And because it's raining, everyone had to drive fart-sniffingly close to each other, of course, as well as change lane for no reason and with no indication in gridlocked traffic, right into the path of filtering riders. Rolling Eyes I'm starting to remember what riding in winter is like... traffic jams, driver lunacy increasing by a factor of 100, fuel all over the wet roads, being blinded by rain all over your visor (thank God for Pinlock), having umpteen pairs of gloves on and gay bar muffs and trying to find the controls by feel, looking even more like the Michelin Man due to the amount of layers that must be worn... BRING IT ON. Twisted Evil

There was tons of it on the way through Plaistow, too - I could tell it was a bus, purely by the way it pulled over at every other bus stop and took the HUGEST arc around parked cars. Deeply bloody annoying, that were.

And I do hope that Maciej doesn't hear about the trousers, else I'll never hear the end of it... Embarassed

Nope, it just contains the various strange and terrible excretions of the French, which is even worse than Thames water for catching a dose of European Sick Laughing
