An insider guarentees me that this oil is rebottled MOTUL oil?

they are next to each other on the shelf, a 4 litre bottle of fully synthetic

Motul bottle 48.99

Heine gerike bottle 21.99

what you reckon...

i have just changed my oil with it and will be using it in the future too, what a price difference!

Ive used this oil for 3 oil changes on my current bike.
Many people chose the own brand over the other and had no complaints Thumbs Up

If you change it regularly; 4-6k miles, then it's just as good as any oil. I ended up using halfords purely because I wasn't bothered riding in the rain to HG Leicester. Motul 4100/4300 seems perfumed to smell like bananas! I was tempted to gulp it down. I guess that's where the extra cost goes to.

When Sync was released it was the holy grail of oil and touted as lasting a lot longer than std mineral oil.......

Seem to remember for cars it was going from 10K per change upto 30K....
So thats, like 3X as long....

So why do people still insist on changing at the same intervals ?????

i've been looking at the hein gericke oil recently and it looks quite good. I recently serviced my bike and used "Shell advance SX" oil.

Has anyone used it before?

I always use Shell Advance VSX. It's bike specific oil. Only use it because I don't know what else I could / should / would use without causing any problems.... Seems to work well enough.

I always use Silolene Comp 4 10w40 semi synthetic in my R6. Its what the Yamaha dealer used to use so I have always stuck with it. Thumbs Up

I normally use 10w-40 but might try 15w-50 on my next oil change, to see if it quietens the valve noise. Any bad effects to had from using heavier oil?

Will likely put it in for a service first, see if that helps... Plugs, carb sync and valve clearances (sp).
