Theres no such thing as a free lunch mate. You get hosted for free by a company and they will be putting adverts on it. Otherwise whats in it for them in hosting thousands of sites with no charge to the owners?
You are better off really getting some less expensive hosting, which can just be like £5-10 a month will be fine for most sites. You get alot more for your money as well |

On the subject of hosts, does anyone know of a specific host that allows you to run multiple websites from i.e. www.motogp.com and www.wsbk.com etc. The reason I ask is cause I've got a few small sites that need to go 'up' and don't want to pay for a server three times over, instead pay the £100 a year and run all three on the same server? Something tells me you cannot do this but ...

I use www.phenominet.com. They're quite cheap and I know for a fact that they don't really care if you do end up going over your bandwidth. They're policy says that they'll let you off the first few times, but then after that they'll warn you telling you to delete some of your files or to upgrade your package.
Now here's the good bit, they say what I stated above, but they really couldn't give a crap about it. I've been going over my bandwidth by 30/40Gb a month for almost a year now and they haven't said anything. On top of things they've got the best support I have ever seen. It doesn't matter what time of the day it is, you will have a reply within 1-2 hours tops.
Their server can be slow at times, but overall it's good.
Another good hosting company is https://www.syntax-fx.com. They're cheap and they do their job well. A friend of mine hosts his MP3 collection with them and to date he has had no problems. ____________________ Sometimes, I like to think I'm 'spe-cial'. |

I have used www.alivewww.com and they were good. I am currently with www.plantetshosting.com and they are alrigtht, just the server can be a bit unreliable occasionally However I pay $9.99 for 45gigs of bandwidth and 10 gigs of space
And Jon, you are looking for hosting which allows multiple domains which nearly all good one do |

Multiple domains as in all pointing to the same index page?
Cause what I'm after is running three different websites, obviously three totally seperate domains, on the same server. So if I pay a monthly charge of £10, I can run all these sites, instead of running three sperate hosts which would cost around £30 a month?
I want to stick a load of my sites onto the pb server, I'd obviously save a lot of cash doing it this way. |

Thats domain redirection Tin
With my Plesk based hosting account, I had upto 10 domains, and I could allocate my space, bandwidth and other stuff as I choose between them. I paid one bill, and could host upto I think it was 10 sites
They all ran from thier own domains just like this site and all of Korns porn sites well, unless its just hidden in www.bikechatforums.com/porn/
