Question

Time has come to change some bits and I'm looking for experienced advice.

1. Chain and sprockets - Although I haven't visually checked yet, it feels like the front sprocket is beginning to become hooked (that notchy feeling coming through the left foot peg)
The obvious choice is the gold VM from D.I.D. and a set of JT sprockets (ten a penny on eGhey) which go for about £120.
However, I am also looking at this and was wondering if anyone has tried or is using them?

Also looking to change the engine oil. The stuff in it has not covered many miles and it looks lovely and golden, but I want to keep it this way so would rather change it sooner than wait for it to go brown. I haven't a clue what oil is there already, so am looking for suggestions based on experience.

Finally, I will be changing the front discs as the current pair are giving noticeable pulsing (19,000 miles) which only goes away under extremely hard braking, so I'm guessing a small amount of warping is present.
Not sure whether to go for a pair of these at £250, a more expensive pair of these which have named branding (false peace of mind???) or finally a pair of these which are remarkably cheaper.

Anyone with any knowledge of these items or experience to share, please speak up.

Many thanks, in advance. Karma
