nsr 125 timing

hi i have a nsr 125 and im not sure the timing is correct and could be why it broke on me also how can i remove carbon deposits in the exaust?
if anyone could give me any info on my bike like restrictions put in or things missing on a frame number of zdcjc22c0yf

your bike is a 2000 UK & IRL
no restrictions apart from intake plate & underjetting
i dont know about the exhaust but a race pipe will increase the power by 2 to 3 bhp . a good tunning can be made by changing the reeds with carbon membranes and fitting irridium plug
