Good stuff, heading upto western Scotland at the end of July, planning on going to applecross, I take it you went over the pass (as your bike is facing towards the lowland route what were the 1:5 hairpins like?

Also, why is the bike for sale? (I do like the look of those pointy VFRs).

Yes we went over the pass - The pass is ok - but the road out of applecross is 10 times better through Sheildaig etc - its like a rollercoaster and be careful of the sheep - possibly one of the best roads in the UK - it is just up down left right with stunning views and the odd car - its brilliant. Dont have a big lunch either - by the time you have done half of the road, you will feel sick!!!

I am selling her due to not using it too much - we had a son in February and i cant justify keeping the VFR now - i only did 2200 miles last year too, and that was with a tour to germany of 1000 miles. And i have some other things i want to do, like go back to university part time and get myself out of what debt i have for good.

She is up for sale now for £4500 ono with all the luggage etc
