Right as some people will no im doing a master cylinder conversion as srad brakes are a bit poo.

Now so far iv'e bought , a K5 600 MC , a HEL adaptor , and a K5 lever.

But im missing the little rod that goes into the lever and pushes on the cup of the MC does any body know if my standard SRAD bolt will fit ???

That is usually part of the brake lever itself, is that not the case on the GSXR?

Cheers

Yes, it should be on the lever - it will push the piston into the MC.

Well i thought about doing the 6 pot swap but i was heavily discouraged from doing it, Still tempted to though as im going to be putting the USD's and i think they would finish it off nicely.

Discouraged on what basis? Clampin force will be greater, but you will need a bigger m/c to get a better pressure out of it and feel.

They bind more quickly and are more likely to warp your disks.

So do the 750's have bigger/thicker discs to prevent this or do they just bind all the time?

No, I mean the pistons in the caliper just seem to get built up with clag quite quickly and seize up. The same way the 6 potters on ZX6Rs seem to.

The 750 will also warp it's disks.

I think he both are due to lack of maintainance tbh, sticky brakes warp discs caused by dirt and corrosion built up.

They will warp the disks even without binding calipers to be fair(just from hard use), but yes the binding does stem from a lack of maintainence.
