Wow, what a fantastic programme. Watched it last night and it actually made my eyes leak. Probably cos I remember watching the Challenger explode live on telly when I got in from school one afternoon in 1986.

iPlayer link, but I think you'd be better off looking out for it shown on proper telly.

Word of warning though, the narrator's voice will get on your tits quickly.

If you like that, aquire 'NASA's Greatest Missions', it's like a much longer version of the same thing (indeed I noticed some crossover in the soundbytes).

Buzz is meant to be on Newsnight this evening btw. You guys wanna hook up on Saturday and be space nerdy?

He has refused to sign my photo of him on the moon .... but I am going to take it along anyway and shove it under his nose.
