Well, it wasn't quite as good as I thought it might be, but it had a hot chick, plenty of explosions, and lots of (inaccurate) military techno-porn!

Hard to say more without printing spoilers, but:

Arrow Sabot rounds are fired from MBT main guns - not 40mm grenade launchers! Newton's laws mean that if you fired an APFDS round from a man-portable device, you'd rip the poor sod's arm off! 'Equal and opposite reaction', Mofo!

Arrow Don't yack on about F22's when your stock footage is of crusty old F16s taxiing!

Arrow Megan Fox is pretty hot - even if she does occasionally remind me of that horrific munter 'Kat Slater'.

Didn't mind Megan Fox... Razz lead male character was a bit dull, Transformers were cool. Thumbs Up

I was a huge fan of the original and i've been iching to see the live action version since IMDB reported it. Embarassed

This new version is fantastic. Those who remember the 80's cartoons will notice Optimus Prime is voiced by the same person. (Peter Callen)

Can't wait for the DVD.

Wonder if the new version of Night Rider will be as good???? Shocked

I thought it was brilliant. Really entertaining bit of mindless fun. The Deceptacons and especially Megatron were under used and under developed but Hollywood always roots for the good guys.

The sequel has already been given the go ahead too!

No Transformers are cool and always will be.

Transformers were launhed in 1984 and concluded in 1987, you would have been one at the time of when the craze died out, do you really remember them?

Even if the film is a crock of shite, who cares? The noise of the transformation is enough to get geeky twenty somethings all giggly Thumbs Up.

"One shall stand, one shall fall!"

I really enjoyed it and the CGI was top quality, possibly ILM's best work.

Did anyone notice that there were a few, er, errors with the script?

Two stuck out:

Soldier laying on floor after taking a hit, screaming in pain. Fellow soldier runs to him, kneels beside him and says "He's got a pulse". Priceless.

Right at the end 'bumble bee' says to optimus prime "I'd like to stay with the boy". Thing is, they all stayed with the boy.

Still, I really enjoyed it! Thumbs Up

Loved the fight scene with optimus on the free way when it was slow motion just before they collide .
Must have been the best shot in the whole film.

I thought alot of it was too fast and you couldn't see enough detail in the characters.

Other than that was great ... like everyone else was a huge fan when i was a kid Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
