Hi, I have just bought a pup of a Xsport, model 110 EY (that's what it says on the manual) The clutch was stuck so I replaced it but when my son rode it the gearbox locked up after a couple of hundred yards. Any help would be appreciated as I have a seriously jacked off son (and wife!)

Hi,

Please dont buy anything from OORacing unless its something that only they sell.
They are heavily overpriced.

If you are going to replace the engine, Give Adam a Call on 01527 893001. Tell him Ben from the Pit bike Forum gave you his number and he will sort you out. Thumbs Up

If you can give me a little more info on the engine, I can help you out.
Which type of engine is it, The Xsport range had two type of 110cc engine. They were the only pit bike manufacturer who made a 110 KIG engine.

KIG = Kick In gear. It basically means the engine has a proper wet clutch (Secondary clutch), Like in a proper bike engine. You can kick start it in any gear, Or in neutral.

Now they also made the Primary clutch style engine, Most 110cc engines are primary clutched.
It means that the Clutch is on the other end of the crank to the flywheel.

These engines can only be kick started if they are in neutral, With the clutch lever out.

Thanks for the reply, I'm pretty sure its the primary clutch style, the clutch I replaced went on the end of the crank
