I think I've got how to measure the Primary Resistance - I'm taking off the two primary connectors on one coil, then putting one probe on each with the multimeter at it's lowest resistance setting. On the Bandit, this gives me a reading of 3.5 on each.
But I'm not getting anything when I try measuring the Secondary windings, so I suspect I'm doing it wrong.
This is what I'm doing:
1) Take off all HT leads from the plugs
2) Set the multimeter to 20k Ohms
2) Taking two leads/caps from the same coil and putting a multimeter probe on each.
Is that how it should be done or am I missing something obvious..?
