I've always fancied getting myself a World Record and I've been inspired by Silky's heroic button pressing antics.

Although making up a new one in some obscure event doesn't interest me - I want to break one.

I think I might have to buy a copy of The Guinness Book of Records tomorrow and have a butchers at what there is to have a go at.

Surely there must be some easy ones to crack?

Anyone here got one?

Why don't you try and set the record for putting the most fondant fancies up your bum?

As sillly as that sounds (unless you are into that sort of thing) it does i feel hold the key to getting into the Guiness book of records. Think of something that no-one in their right mind would think of setting a record for and, voila - you are now the worlds best at it and in print too!

How many did you achieve by the way? think my local spar had an offer on the other day... https://bestsmileys.com/thinking/8.gif

Surely we can beat this one fella:
https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/records/travel_and_transport/bikes_and_motorbikes/blindfold_motorcycle_speed_record.aspx

I lend you the R6 .... use a pair of the wifes stockings to blindfold you with ... chuck a bluetooth headset in the helmet for comms.

All we need to find then, is a nice long stretch of road ... I will communicate:
"left a bit son..... left I said.... no, right a bit now ... LEFT ".
All you got to do is hit 165mph Rolling Eyes
Its doable I tell ya.

I'll do it!

Only if you don't wash the stockings first though...

I had my claim rejected by the Guinness Book of Records, apparently having 'the best night's sleep ever' isn't quantifiable. Thumbs Down

Have a look for the nitro circus world record attempt episode to give you some ideas, though there's were mostly new.

If you haven't seen nitro circus, it's well worth a look anyway - it /is/ a mix of jackass and crusty demons of dirt, with people from both in it.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
