GSXR 600 2004 Wobbly Pegs

The bike's coming up for it's half year service and while giving it a good clean down (yes with a tooth brush :-p) I noticed the foot pegs wobble/move slightly.

You don't notice it when riding - they don't feel loose - but you can slightly twist/rotate them in their position, looking behind the foot guards I can see the other end of the bolt that must be running through them rotating as well - it all feels very tight (doesn't move in or out) so I wondered if it was meant to do this?

I'd hate for the pegs to fall off when riding so I thought I'd better check; I thought maybe there was rubber in there holding it tighter and maybe the rubber had deteriorated and fell out but there doesn't look like there's much space anyway so I dunno.
