I am using it in a usb is there any other way to use it?
When I click on the shortcut the box comes up ok and then it tries to connect, but a box comes up and says unable to connect check settings. Have been on the 3 site and followed the steps given but still not made a difference.
Apologies for any thickness on my part, am not very technically minded |

Hi, within Ubuntu, opening up wvdial is often enough.
Have a google for wvdial.
(This is assuming you run Ubuntu, you've not stated) ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

I had trouble with my dongle from 3.
The software that came with the dongle wouldn't work so had to get the customer support to do whilst on the phone.
We did have a bit of trouble a while back after our youngest started touching the computer. It just wouldn't log on, turned out it was due to the incorrect option on the connection screen.
On ours (in Aus) we have 2 selections on a drop down tab next to 'connect' and my son had selected the wrong one and hence why we couldn't get on.
I also found that it wouldn't work if the wireless switch on the laptop was on. To be wireless with the dongle the laptop couldn't be wireless????
^ Its a bit confusing I know, I'm sorry. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |
