going to London in Aug for a few days and thinking about going to Madame Tussauds, however is you go in at 18:00 leaving at 19:00 you can save £10 on entry but is an hour long enough to the exhibits?

Funnily enough I was there on Sunday. It was very, very busy and that's obviously going to make the journey round a lot longer. However, even when a bit quieter I'd say that if you want to look at everything properly then you'll need a bit more than an hour. It all depends on what you want to to - there's stuff like the Big Brother Diary room which you can go in, or you can have your picture taken in the Pop Art atyle, for example - both of which will add onto your time there (among other things). If you're happy to scoot through the sections which you don't find hugely interesting then it is possible to do it in an hour, but for the entrance fee I think I'd want my money's worth! Laughing

I bought a 3 in 1 ticket which included Madame Tussauds, the London Dungeon and the London Eye, which cost £55, saving about £25 a head. I wouldn't recommend the Dungeon but Tussauds and the Eye are good. I think you can get a combined ticket for both (leaving out the Dungeon) which allows you in at any time with no time limit whilst there (priority entrance too) and will still save you money.

We went to a wax museum when we went to the Gold Coast, QLD and have to say they were pants. I know that Madame is supposed to be good but looking at pictures I'm not convinced.

Heres what we paid quite a few $ for Thumbs Down

They had the damn cheeck to ask for no photos in the dungeon part, that was even worse! Should have asked for a refund!

No offence like, but I really can not comprehend why people go to see that absolute toss. Extortionately priced and for what exactly?

Total and utter Mugs. Laughing
