Hi there,

I got a price of £70 from my local garage for a cam chain tensioner for my cbr 600 fs-2, and another £70 to fit it.

I think that's a bit pricey, so was considering fitting it myself. Anyone know where i can pick up a cct cheaper?

cheers!

David Silver Spares is the place to go, probably about £35 for the part and about ten minutes to fit it. £140 is extortionate.

Cheers

£43 from david silvers - https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/

Fitting, probably just remove rhs fairing and remove the old one, jam the new one on. Sorted. Mind and get a new gasket for it too. (both upper and lower)
