nice, ive got a J1 zx6r and im planning to get a k6 next summer. Although pondering getting the 750. How does the k6 feel coming off of the kwak? Im guessing it will feel a bit lighter/more flickable, but less mid range grunt?

First thing I noticed was how the bike loves to turn, you feel like you can just swing the bike around the corners. Im quite small so its more comfortable to ride. The big difference I feel when riding is how tame it is though, the ZX had a raw beasty feel. When riding the gixx it feels civilised and well mannered.

Thats what I figured. Hence im considering the 750 for the extra torque. The 6R engine is really underated I feel. Its got some astonishing grunt for a 600 and the induction roar is awesome, feels like you have something that means buisness between your legs Surprised . I just love the styling of the k6 though. Looks like you described, corner happy! Do you have to ring its neck though to keep the power on tap? How does it pickup, is there some midrange or do you really need to keep it screaming to get tehe best from it? Sorry for all the questions but as this is a move im considering Id like to hear the pros and cons between the two bikes,

cheers

Thumbs Up

No problem mate, I dont mind answering questions. Im a relatively new rider, so my experience with bikes is limited. Im having problems with the FI problem experienced with gsxr at around 6k rpm because of the replacement exhaust as it replaces the cat as well, so the power is not as smooth as it should be. I'll be getting the bike remapped so i'll have a better feel for it then.

I dont generally go into the high revs unless im on the motorway or quiet lanes, but when the FI error isnt up then the power is decent around the mid range. The real improvement I notice from changing bikes is the development in technology on the bike as its a 6 year advancement. The braking and handling is something thats really impressed me, really responsive.

Actually selling the K6 after 2 weeks Razz .

Nothing wrong with the bike, but bank overdraft is killing me and having 0% finance on a new bike will be easier on my bank account.

If anyone is interested let me know.
