Cinnabar moth, they come from those orange and black stripey caterpillars you get swarming over Ragwort in fields (the tall yellow flowered weed that horses can't eat).

Maybe someone can help me with identifying this one. I work part time as a door to door salesman selling moisturising skin lotion and wicker baskets. I have a number of customers who I visit on a regular basis, one of whom is Jame. He is a craftsman who will often trade some of his hand-crafted leather goods for some of my products. Jame is a keen lepidopterist and when I drove away from his house the other week I noticed that one of his moths had escaped and ended up in my car. Any ideas what it is?

That sounds creepy - the bloke does seem a little weird. He plays his music really loud and wears these odd goggles on his head. I'll have to be careful I think!
