Mine would have to be;

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v246/remoking/100_2932.jpg

Ignore the date, i didn't set the camera up. Was in may 2008).

Couldn't sleep at all that night, so decided to get fully kitted up and head for the coast which was around 30 miles away. Had to leave the house as qiuetly as possible to avoid wakening the parents (they would have probably flipped Laughing ). I raided the kitchen and stuffed my backpack with cans of coke, jaffa cakes and soreen fruit loaf (Luke will lol).

Checked the bike over, lubed the chain, topped up the engine oil and nicked some petrol my dad bought for his lawnmower. Then pushed the bike away from the house and down the road, started it up and rode. Cool

It was still dark when i left the house, so when it started to light up i jumped off and took that picture. That was probably the best and most memorable morning rides i have ever had on a bike. I went to (not so) Great Yarmouth, then took the long route home. Just chilling the whole way. Brilliant thing was that the roads were empty, every village i stumbled through was eery and silent.

Hopefully i'll have a few more rides like that this upcoming summer, good times. Thumbs Up

I do that like every couple of weeks. Excellent fun. Especially bumping the bike up the camber off the starter motor, then pushing it down the street before starting it.

Dartmoor at half 2 in the morning is pretty amazing.

Not the best of photos, but one I took on the way home one Friday. One of the alternate commuting routes I've found.

https://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y51/whers84/DSC01029-1.jpg

The rush hour traffic in south east England has to be seen to be believed.

If you take the coast road towards The Range and South Stack there used to be a bend called cowshit corner where the farmer used to drive his dairy herd across the road every day. Plenty of people came off their bikes on that bend Very Happy

That is the bike pre-turbo. Sadly that paintwork was removed by the runway at Woodbridge so now it's in stock '99 copper colours.

Cowshit corner is still there, we camp at the old diving centre several times a year (including a big party every august bank holiday) so I know that road very well!

I used to live in the big farmhouse on the brow of the hill opposite the turning to South Stack. I loved living up there as a lad - I really miss the place sometimes. I got my name on a plaque in the lifeboat house after being rescued at sea aged 14.

Probably this one as it was at the start of my first Euro tour and brings back loads of memories.

But this one is special to me as I went over a tw*t of a mountain pass in Italy Laughing

No real favourites of the KTM yet, but I caught a nice sunset last week and took a few snaps.
