hi i have a Yamaha sr125 and every time i go to my bike there is a puddle of petrol underneath. i am pretty sure it is coming out of my carb from the little tube that comes out of the bottom, but i do not know how to fix it.

does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

That would be the overflow,
I think either the float height is wrong
or the float is getting jammed when tipping it over.

Hi just check that the drain screws are nice and tight.

Have a read of this thread,
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=164975
might be useful or click on search in the top right and type in float valve. Should bring up loads of info.

i had a time, when my reserve tap was leaking... when putting it back in place, i tightened the screw a bit too much.. and that caused a little leak...
not sure about the carbs.. its probably them.. but if not.. it might just be something simple like that!??
