Air Fuel mixture tap

How do these taps work?

If they arent set correctly can they limit the revs of a bike?

How do i know if mine is set correctly or not?

What do you mean by an air fuel mixture tap?

Most carbed bikes do have a mixture adjustment screw, but this is there to adjust the mixture at very low revs / throttle positions and has next to no effect at high revs / throttle positions. Mixtures at higher revs / throttle positions the mixture is adjusted by changing various jets.
