Does anybody know how to uninstall vista?

I want to install xp in my new laptop, before I just inserted the xp cd and it was stupid proof but no wi vista

can anyone help please, many thanks Thumbs Up

Go into your bios and select your first boot device as cd rom.

Put your XP disc in and it will boot to the xp installer.

Follow the steps.

you can usually press f8 or f2 and select your boot device
make sure you format the drive.
dont know why you want XP. i hate the bloody thing. much prefer vista even though it is a resource hog

Before you go blindly with the nuke and pave approach on your laptop, download XP drivers and burn them off to a CD first, I really can't stress how important that is enough beyond pointing out that a good percentage of the 'duff' laptops I buy in are the results of people trying this exact thing without doing their homework first.
