hi, i got a piaggio nrg and it went fine - 50 on a flat - but earlier, i installed a high performance air filter and now whenever i give it full throttle it stops revving and just dies, this is annoying as it was fine until i installed it Sad, is it worth even having it on there? i don't know what the solution is but any help would be top!

You need to re-jet your carb.

Hassle getting it to run right with an aftermarket air filter.

I would definately put it back to standard.

yep faraz is right, the standard ped is designed to run on the original air filter & box. fitting a race filter will make the ped run leaner which is why you've got no power. also if it's one of those malossi sponge type filters, you can't drive the ped in the rain coz the filter is..... well 'a sponge'. fitting a sports exhaust wont give you any more power unless you up-jet. here's a site that maybe of interest to you www.tunemyscooter.com/category/50cc-tuning/feed/ & follow the links, all the info is there.
