Flexi Rider and Day Insure (Dont know if they are the same company though).

And they only insure you if you're over 25.

I just insured myself third party only on a Vfr 400 for £15 a month with eBike pay as you go. It's monthly but you can cancel at any time. Not sure about age limits though.

Actually not a bad idea. Are there any implications of this, I assume not cost wise?

Won't work. You will only get a full refund if the insurance company have made a mistake with the policy or it was misadvertised. If you just decide you don't want to insure the bike any more they can still take a slice of the premium.

hm... Not really, I am 20, and I do it all the time. The trick is getting to know what the cancellation fee is, before buying the insurance.
That means reading the terms and condition before buying. When they ask you why you're cancelling it, my usual excuse will be "I've just been sacked or I've lost my job."

DO NOT include other covers, such as Breakdown, helmet & leather, legal expense, BECAUSE THESE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED. You will have to pay in full because if you ask for monthly payment, there would be admin/finance arrangement charge which is also not refundable.

Cancellation charge within 14 days:
Kwikfit insurance charge £25
bikesure charge less than £40 if i remember correctly.
Some are rediculously high, such as Express insurance, £50

Remember it's the days that the policy is in force. Which means, If I buy the insurance today, today will be day 1, tomorrow will be day 2, NOT tomorrow is day 1.

I wonder, if during the cooling off period, I had an acident, and blame was disputed, am I able to cancel the insurance within the cooling off period? You should be able to, because the insurance you paid covers the whole year, and if you have accident first day, and you totaled your bike, you should cancel the insurance right away. They will charge you for the days you're insured anyways and refund the rest to you.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nudge Nudge wink wink, if you have NCB, The insurance company will ask you for proof within 14 days, BUT as you're going to cancel it anyways, there's no need to respond.

OK now i know what you guys might be thinking.
USING FALSE DETAILS TO OBTAIN MOTOR INSURANCE IS ILLEGAL, and during the 14 days period, IF YOU HAVE AN ACCIDENT (AND IT'S YOUR FAULT), YOU'LL BE FUXKED.
