derestriktion

Nice lol

A table spoon of sand next time you change the oil ( the black stuff that will soon be leaking from the bottom of your bike/ped )
wd40 on the wheel bearings helps for top end.

You can't buy a "power band" because it is simply the rpm range that your engine is most efficient, two strokes in particular have very narrow rpm range in which they are efficient and produce any decent power, you will also hear it refered to as being "on the pipe" when talking about two strokes.

derestricting a scooter will allow the engine to rev more freely and because you remove the disruptor pipe (or changed for sports exhaust) the efficiency of the engine increases letting it develop full power at higher engine rpm or to put it another way reach it power band.

When fitting a sports exhaust the power band is moved higher up in the engines rpm range, this is why you need to change rollers and clutch springs etc,

a standard derestricted exhaust will keep the power at around about the rpm at which the scooter pulls at when riding at full throttle, so you shouldn't need to change rollers etc.
