My chain seems to be rubbing on my main (centre) stand whilst riding. Shocked

The tension of the chain to me seems fine, you can see me pushing the chain both up and down in this video on youtube to show its tension. The downward give is almost nothing.

These photos show the chain is in contact with the main stand when it is up, and you can see the area of the stand where the chain has been rubbing. Thumbs Down

This cant be a good thing, and the chain does seem to be fitted correctly, any idea what the issue could be here guys? :/

The main stand will most likely have a rubber bump-stop somewhere - have a good look and see if that bump stop and main stand are connecting together properly...

E.g. on my mk1 CBR600, the bump stop is part of the exhaust and the stand has a lug which engages against the bump stop to stop the stand from going too high (like yours)

Mmm I probably haven't explained that very well - I might try and add a picture later if you don't suss it out Wink

It'll go just above where the right hand side foot of the center stand stays when the stand is in the up position.

Now aren't you glad you keep hold of these things! lol
