gsx 750 - cut out?

hi

i went to look at a gsx 750 yesterday (2000, 16000odd miles)

it looks ok, the exhaust was a bit iffy and the brakes and back tire will need sorting, but i figure i can sort that.

what worried me more, was he started it - i didnt get to check if it was from cold - it ran fine for a few minutes while we talked. but then he went to rev it, and it just dieds. it restarted immeadiately and then seemed ok after that.

a blip? or sympton of something serious?

sorry i know its not much to go on but any advise appreciated

not really sure... dont think i could be much help.. But maybe giving a few more details about the position of the bike, surroundings?? could help someone experienced to give an opinion... air temp, bike on the stand?? :S
maybe something electircal?
when i bought my bike,, everything worked well, but a few weeks later.. disaster, battery was completely dead, and so was the r/r...
and my next bike, if its not new. im gonna make sure i check the electrical side o things!!

in my opinion... a "blip" like that on the road could be a little dangerous... ??
