My old CB250N (yep, a superdream!) has finally given up, it won't select any gears at all. Externally, the linkage all appears to move through the normal range of movement. Before it gave up completely, it did begin to take a couple of attempts to shift up from second gear (just wouldn't engage third properly), and when it finally gave up completely I was changing down from third. Now it's like it's stuck in a permanent neutral.
Any suggestions as to anything I should be looking at? Or is it time to call it a day and let the poor old thing rust in peace?
