Sticking choke

Hi Folks,

Just purchased a Suzuki GSXR 600 ( 2000) lovely ride home on the bike about 30 miles, started it this morning and the bike revs about 3500 with no sign of easing off even when warm. I am assuming maybe the choke is stuck on any ideas ?

Its idling a bit high.
Maybe a little turn down of the idle screw ?

Sticking choke wouldn't really just cause idling problems.
I would take the carb apart and inspect if the idle screw doesn't solve the problem.

I have the same issue, and it's the choke cable. I stripped it out and sprayed WD40 down it which helped a bit but not much.
