Was coming home the other day from work had a long day and stuff on my mind. I was doing about 60 - 70 mph in a country lane which i travel on my daily commute to and from work. But my mind wondered off and i left myself too little distance and too much speed coming into a bend.
So i started to break hoping i can reduce enough speed to make it over but i couldn't so i down shifted. My back wheel went and i was trying to balance myself before crashing into the bank and rubbed against the bank with me being dragged along for 10meters or so.
Lucky i had my jacket on otherwise my arms would have been scratched to bits, and my leg is a bit brucied up and scratched as the bike was on top of me rubbing against the bank.
I managed to stand myself up lifted the bike up and go myself going again . it was a pretty close call and was pretty scary, a lot worst could happen there.
Very minor injuries and pretty much no damage to the bike.
