I'm currently considering buying a (reliable) half decent bike that I can do some greenlaning / off-roading type activities on. Top end speed is not important but a bit of decent drive from low down would be nice. Come across this KLR 250 on gumtree - https://belfast.gumtree.com/belfast/69/41951169.html

1. What's your thoughts on them in general and in particular the one in the ad?

2. Would I be better looking at something a bit lighter / more powerful?

P.S. I should also say that my experience of off-roading is limited to a 150 pit bike, which is fun, but does suffer over the boggier terrain. Hence my consideration of a full-size off roader.

Cheers Thumbs Up

Ian
