Not had this bike long, first opportunity I've had to get out and get some pics.

Needs a new exhaust, the standard one is massive. Smile

God I know, there's no teaching some people.

Vince sent me a message saying: "im gonna get used to it first then open it up what will i feel like compared to a cbr400?
i'm not gonna go bizerk first but think a mercedes e190 will beat r1? my dads car i wanna own him haha."

I didn't even reply, just feel a bit sorry for him really. He's getting an R1 for all the wrong reasons..

I always quite liked the look of the stock R1 cans for that model.
Just the colour and style of the can its self is really quite nice.

Can you not get it shortened?

I've got a pair of Road legal Quill Cans on my TLR which were really quiet at first. They are still baffled up but they have been shortened and are nice and fruity now.

2003 5pw model, still not made my mind up about which exhaust to get Sad

I like this one:

But it's a little on the expensive side..

Got one on my Honda, it's got a nice sound without being deafeningly loud (even with the baffle out)

Unless you want deafeningly loud of course. Laughing

(Don't buy one of the budget ones, they don't have removable baffles. Smile )
