Nowt like abit of variety eh?
That MX got some height, and as for ferret stroking..very very underrated if you can find a pong-free one.

Why do you think he goes cycling along canal paths in the Brum metropolitan area?

Probably pays to get his ferret stroked rather than charging for it...

Unfair.... looks like the weather was actually nice! We went today, had a horse competing, had to be up at 5am and it drizzled all day! Got to watch the bikes, there was a massive crowd!

It ends this weekend doesn't it? We did the flyers for the food festival bit in Romsey on Sunday, so have been up on what's going on, even though not able to get involved.

I thought the horse was going to be doing the driving Sad

As for the ferrets, did you give it a go? If you want to be bit by a ferret try mine and I will not even charge you.

My nextdoor neighbour years ago had ferrets that regularly escaped and found their way into my car port and under the log store, much to the vocal amusement of my Newfoundland! They were very tame and cute, so I was able to fetch them out and return them home, but wasn't overly confident - potentially nasty little nippers! Somehow I didn't feel the need to pay 20p for the privilege, but what a money spinner!! Mr. Green

It has to be said the ferret racing was a huge crowd draw and very amusing, but my favourite for giggles was the terrier racing. Complete bedlam, an amazing racket, somehow it's funny every time and the dogs look like they're having such a good time too, so win-win Mr. Green

I'd love to put Georgie in for something like this - reckon those sort of events would allow Staffords, or is it just for the smaller ankle-biting yappy-yappy terriers like Russells etc??

Ooooo! You could have been persona and canine non grata with a Staffy, as one managed to bite one of the racing pigs!! Shocked

Apparently it's owner let it stick it's head through the bars and next thing it decided bacon was on the menu! Piggy was ok and racing later in the day, albeit with a purple hue from the antisceptic spray!! Laughing

As for the terrier racing, it's bedlam and all are allowed to race, but to be fair most of the 'amateurs' are more interested in saying hello to all the other dogs and people watching, to the disgust of their very competitive owners Laughing
