Walking home from the bus stop earlier I happened to hear a scooter coming round the corner, I turn round to see a kid on a DNA50 wearing trainers, shorts, a helmet and nothing else, no gloves or top.

That’s pretty much a normal sight with the scooter brigade but this particular prat decided to come round a blind bend as fast as his little 50 would take him only to find a traffic build up just around the corner.

Cue frantic braking and the locking of his back wheel, he skidded along the road coming to a stop around 3 inches from the back of the last car in the jam.

Maybe the twat will learn a lesson when he does actually come off, i know its harsh but the only way him and his mates will learn is if one of them has an accident without the proper gear on

On the way to Boxhill I must have passed about 40 bikes, and I can't remember 1 of the riders wearing anything other than t-shirts and shorts or jogging pants. I wasn't expecting to see anyone in leathers when I got there, pratts.

Must have been national scooter day or something - I saw 2 or 3 convoys of about 40-50 when I was out on my lesson today.

I also saw a pillock on a 400 dirt bike in jeans and no top - hmmmm sensible!!!

I like playing with peds I linger behind them in a low gear so my engine is screaming just behind them so that they think they are winning! Its great constantly seeing them looking over their shoulder giving it all they've got but then I get bored and just go past waving oh how I laughed!

well i felt for one guy who died today ....my mum told me that on the way back from drayton manor (theme park) they saw a bike accident ..now for some reason the police hadnt touched the guy and he remained on the road as my dad passed this guy he was apparently wearing full gear lid leathers sidi boots etc etc and it must of been somming bad as he just lay there on the road as police diverted traffic and the ambulance crew arrived

I seen the same coming back from i think it was twycross zoo when i was a little younger, the bike was upside down looked funny.

Im suprised i havent killed myself, being scooter nob. I got to get another ped one day there such a lark.

Theres the local scooter brigade round here about 30 of them, speedfights,RS50's,RX50,AR50 kwak,Aerox,some ugly trials thing. Mainly speedfights, they came round the bend by me and they were riding in rows of 4 and behind each other they were like 2 or 3 inches from each others rear tyres. It only takes just ONE bike to fuck up and th whole lot of them will smash. Now thats gonna be a lot of plastic!

Ive never been out when would of them have stacked it, the old scooter brigade i used to cruise with all got novas now and the like.

There was a crash the other day betwwen them lot, my mate said on msn if i heard about it, but i wernt there and he had gone when i came back.

I think they need to make the training a lot more harder to pass a CBT, but then again it doesnt change the way you ride till you do youself a serious injury. Same with rudeboy car drivers, there the same. Nver underestimate the fun of a ped!

Im thinking, does it hurt any different to come off a bike like a NSR than it does a ped? Cus a ped is a step thru or something and when you crash, you just fall off, but on a bike your sitting with it between your legs.

I dont know, and its 3 23am and i cant sleep.
