Ive been playing online for quite some time now, not often and not for huge amounts of money. Most I have won was £500 from a £10 buy in.

Last night was a £500 buy in. After the best part of 2 and a half hours I walked away with £3500 profit. Yup I won, Im a happy bunny today. Time to pay off my overdraft!!!

Im never playing poker for money again, thats the end of my good luck!

8 including myself, To be honest up till yesterday I was probably evens with what I had won and lost. It was a completely different experience to playing online. Much more intense, and to be able to see peoples face and attempt to read them was excellent. The chap to my immediate left lost his lot on the first hand. He blamed it on not being allowed to wear his sunglasses!!

As I said, thats it for me now. Ive closed down my online account and paid off my overdraft. There is enough left to take her ladyship out for a posh meal and nice hotel for the night!

Well done that man.

Wish I had the willpower to be 'up' and stay up. I too prefer real-life tourneys, but I enter ones with ~100 people.

I have recently been playing blackjack and won about £1200 starting with a tenner which was good but lost most of it again.
