Probably a custom made sub frame. It's theoretically very easy, just depends how handy you are.

It will fit with some mods, seem one on mcnninjas at some point so maybe have a look there??

Generally, if you cut enough stuff off, you can make it fit. We got an R6 tail unit onto a DNA 125 with the help of a big angle grinder.
Of course you could spend that time riding your bike, you might have more fun Wink

You not think it improves the overall look of the bike though?

I really wanted an 04 model 600 but got stung with a hefty tax bill an had to re-think what to get. That was about the only 600 in my price range that was still pretty curvy how I wanted one. I hate the boxyness of the older bikes, I much prefer curves and points.

Debating whether to sell it an buy a newer one now or spend a bit of cash on this one. Not overly keen on the colour either.

i'd just save up and buy a new bike...
theres no point in modifying it because it will look like two 1/2 bikes welded together. It wont look right.

mainly because the front end is older..

Nothing to do with the pleasure of riding it. I love riding the bike, can't fault it at all, I'm purely going off looks.

Everyone is different, I like a mixture of a good looking bike as well as the performance. It's not all down to how much HP it has and torque, I couldn't care less about all the statistics.

Sounds like a load of work to be honest and I would be better off selling it an getting an 04 ninja but I reckon after talking to my mate about it, going to keep this for a bit.

Maybe get a ZX7 next...

Deffo want to spray it a different colour though.

Tbh, the zx6r is a much nicer bike than the 7r! They are far too heavy and underpowered!
