bought this bike just over a week ago

anyway looking for a nice reliable bike and at a decent price, i was looking at the normal zx6r's srad 600's ect, but came accross a mint 1990 CBR 600 F1 "Jellymould" !

me and Kirsty (Fiancee) both loved the bike from first sight, it came with 18 years worth of MOT's, full service history and has just had a new Scorpion system, rear tyre and a full service.

anyway over the past week we have tidyed it up a bit and cant wait to ride it..

We will be using it to get to Uni 5 days a week in September and then maybe get Kirsty to take her CBT and get her own bike !

anyway just thought id say hi and heres some pics after a clean today :

Blimey! That looks really clean. I'd remove the centre stand though. Proper old school. Thumbs Up

Excellent choice and that looks to be in great condition! Very Happy

I got mine as a first bike for £875 6 years ago Surprised and after several drops and trackdays she is still going strong with 76,000 miles on the clock and even did a 1700 mile round trip to Millau in the South of France.

No way, it makes looking after the chain and other maintenance jobs very simple - I'd say keep it Wink

Just curious... That bike looks rather familiar, you didn't buy it from a guy in Manchester did you?

Looks really clean though, how much was it?
