 |
|
I'm staying with my parents for a couple of months as its summer and I have nothing to do at uni. They have recently switched to sky broadband which is really good, that is until you reach 6 o'clock when the speed will drop from around 500KB/s to 50KB/s. Which is a very noticeable difference and it means that I can't use youtube or download items or really do anything useful on the internet.
Is this standard for sky broadband or are they dicking about with the connection to help "ease" the strain on their servers? If so would calling them perhaps stop them from doing this? It is really starting to get old now.

No problems on evening speed here either on LLU.
Problems however with the new usage allowances which are now wank compared to before. ____________________ Staffs Riders Forum |

I am with talktalk and experience similar problems, its frustrating as I do a lot of online gaming on xbox360.
Nothing worse than getting a low signal when your trying to shoot the hell out of people, only to find you have not even fired a shot on others killcams
Moving to plus net as they are supposed to be good in general and for gaming but downside is its not free |
