Hi everyone i'm new to this forum stuff so forgive mistakes.
Ok so i have a er6f last month whilst riding home all the dials died on the bike and when i let the rev's drop to idle the bike cut out and wouldn't start again. i was told this was a battery. Got a new battery same thing happened again, was told needed new regulator/rectifer and the generator needed to be re wound, done all this, good as new for a month now the same thing has happened again, please any advice would be grateful?

I won't be able to help much but to avoid others wasting time:

What is the year of the bike?

What is the mileage?

And do you have a multimeter and know how to use it?

Who was it that 'told you' that these parts needed replaced in the first place?

As it's on a 57 plate why isn't it being repaired under warranty?

Warranty is 2 years unlimited mileage.

Are you sure all this has been done, would have cost several hundred?

The Warranty isn't invalid. If the service book on yours is the same as the service book on my 08 model the only thing the dealer has to do is change the plugs and the 26k shims.

As neither the reg/rec or the generator are serviceable items they should be covered regardless of your service history.
