i a recently re bored, put a new piston and rings in,got new timing chain and sprocket. i drove it for roughly 300 kms and now there is this weird squeezing/chirping sound coming for the engine. im not shure if its coming from the top or the bottem end of the engine. any ideas what it could be?

I deffinatly say its your head gasket (from experience), double check your head bolts are torqued properly. As a check, when you first start the engine (because its cold) feel around each gasket for escaping air, any leaks will be apparent Smile

i was checking my bike to day and i notcied there was a jet missing off the carb (piolet jet). i had it un screwed very loosly because it ran the best like that. it runs really good with out the jet in it but thats were the sound might be coming from. i cant really tell though because when i put my finger over the jet hole the engine dyes or it runs a little puffing grey smoke.
