Under some new home office proposals, immigrants will gain extra brownie points towards gaining a British passport if they choose to reside in Scotland.

We're not the only country to do that, New Zealand will give you extra points that increase the further away from Auckland you plan to settle, to spread the population out. It makes sense really, am sure the Scots will be happy, I think they should be encouraged to go to Belfast personally, might put them all off for good.

As a general rule, more people is a bad thing North or South of the border.

I'm sure all those new citizens coming from warmer climes will enjoy the Scottish weather right enough...

Laughing Reminds me of one of the hotter days last year, when all local people would be wearing t-shirts and the like. Then there was the African worker at the bus station in an huge anorak. Bless his little black nipples.

Indeed.

Always makes me smile when the temperature noses above 15 degrees. All the horrid wee out of work chavs bare their emaciated chests and spotty shoulders...

Meanwhile, there are Indian's and Bangladeshi's wearing their entire wardrobe in an effort to keep warm.
