Only got home about half an hour ago. Took loads of photos, however the weather was crap, and the venue was a building site.

I'll process the rest of my shots when I get a chance, but I'll leave you with this wee shot of the eventual winner, Dovi.

I'll get the rest uploaded ASAP (hopefully tomorrow night). Thumbs Up

I hate you... I was supposed to go but some guy decided that me and the bike would enjoy a nice slide up the road.
Was it good though? (apart from the weather and the building site)

Ok, so mine are nothing like Big_ham's but you might want to see them here? We had a great day despite the rain and endless queues to get out. Next year I think I will take the Monday off and stay at my folks in Coventry.

Would love to see the rest of your pic's Big_ham they look fantastic. It took us 4 hours to get out of the car park and another 4 to get home, surviving off caffeine today.

Should be relatively easy to clone the top of the fencing out, it's something I'll have a go at when I get some time.

Those were the two shittest part for sure, but yes it was good.

Didn't have enough big screens there IMO though, so it was a bit difficult to see what was going on at other parts of the circuit. Thumbs Up

Absolutely top class photos Ham, I would kill to be able to take a photo like that.

@ Pic three, watching the race me and my mate were like, 'is that an underseat can?' 'Yeah.' 'Why does it have a normal side-on can then?' 'It obviously does...oes.'

What are the benifits of this system, and will we ever see it on road use?

(Massive n00b question probably)

Cheers.

Thank you, and each can runs from two cylinders of the V4.

I suspect it's to do with getting the same tuned length for each of the two banks of cylinders. If you had the pipes exiting in the same place then the length of the two pipes would be different just due to the shape of the V4 motor.

I'm sure it's possible to give the the same tuned length and have them exit in the same place, but you'd end up with a rats nest of pipe work under the bike which isn't great for weight and heat build up.

HTH.
