WTF? I mean, "Visit Spain" may very well be important to the country's tourist economy, but last time I looked, Donington was located in the UK.

And the president of the Spanish Tourism Board (or whatever, I'm not really interested) presenting the trophies?

Jesus, way to go Donington. Middle Finger

I see what you mean, all the adverts seem to be for Spain.

I did think that and my Dad pointed it out aswell, being it was so sunny on Quali day I thought we were back in Valencia or something!

As Timmeh said, the guy with the most wedge..

De Puniet and Edwards was a brilliant battle though. Thumbs Up

Were you expecting british sponsorship logo's around the track?
Off the top of my head i can't think of a british company that puts any serious money into motogp. Look at bradley smith. He was leading the 125 world championships at one point yet he rides for a spanish team.

Was it sponsored by Santander or something? Might explain the Spanish connection.

It was great wasn't it. De Puniet was riding like it was dry, and I love his style, it's like he's wrestling the bike round the track.

Elias was going really well too. I'd just said to my missus, bloody hell, he's going for it when he touched the white line. Looked like it hurt, but love it when they walk away!
