It's builders caulk.
It is white.
It is used to fill in small gaps around windows, doors, skirting, etc. for painting over.
It is designed to fill gaps, it is not really a filler for holes.

That said you could just suck it and see.

I used Polyfilla Plaster Repair last week (the one you mix yourself, not pre-mixed).
Mixed it up in a jug, filled up a load of cracks in the plaster. Sanded it down easily (more easily than standard filler, I'd like to add) and painted.
Cracks are perfectly covered. Thumbs Up

Just wish I spotted two that I missed before I painted!

I use UniBond no more cracks, it's the rectangle tub in the pic.

Can't find it on B&Q's website but that's where it came from. Use it on holes, a few small cracks etc but never tried it on plasterboard so don't know if it would work (it might just topple through the other side).

Comes pre-mixed obviously and is like a gritty gloopy stuff, spread it on with the included plastic flappy thing and smooth it down and scrape off the excess, wait for it to dry and sand it if you wish (i was to lazy to so just painted it Laughing )

Wasn't that expensive either to be honest.

Don't use caulking - you'll not be able to sand it flat because it just tears

Readymixed plaster, polyfilla, anything of that description will be fine - as long as the holes aren't monstrous - if you're just talking about rawl plug sized holes it'll fill fine and not fall out.

Not used no more nails to fill rawlplug holes specifically - wouldn't suggest it's needed TBH. Filler and a small, clean paint scraper is all that should be required.

May need to build up a couple of layers to fill it out right but it doesn't take long to dry and you can sand it perfectly flat then.

I ordered some Mangers Lightweight Filler for some jobs at work (as it was very cheap) and it's absolutely awesome stuff. Comes in a tub, pre-mixed and when it dries out, just add a few drops of water and stir in. It is very fine in composition and smooths over very nicely. It only needs one application and doesn't 'pit' like other stuff I've used. Dries quick too. We've had the same tub for a few years now and just used it the other week. https://www.decoratingwarehouse.co.uk/catalogue.php?productid=178&utm_source=google_base&utm_medium=directory
