you can get the best with exact specifications you want by building yourself but usually a tad more expensive

a fairly decent spec computer can be bought for a lot cheaper but you don't get 100% what you want.

im going to be building my next computer. going to start saving some money and wait for the price of ddr3 memory and the ddr3 motherboards to come down in price.

what are you looking to use the computer for?

Go and buy a basic Dell machine, price will be spot on and as you don't have any apparent knowledge of pc hardware the support will be useful too, as everything about your pc is known to them.

Alternatively same sort of thing from HP.

Whilst overclockers are quite good, they're not the cheapest or the best at providing what you seem to need.
