Keep seeing adverts for various places that do this e.g.

www.mazumamobile.com

www.Envirofone.com

(and another one I can't remember - bad advertising that!! Laughing)

looked up a couple of my old phones and can make a few quid - get rid of some junk at the same time ... win win!! Thumbs Up

Anyone ever used one of these type of sites? Did you get paid??? any hidden costs/problems?!!?

TIA

You usually get about half of what you can get on Ebay.

Might as well post in this before the inevitable;
"Today I did do - Mobile Recycling" thread.
My last mobile I recycled with Envirofone, only because they screen was fubar'd.
Believe the full price was only 10 quid more than I got (I opted for argos vouchers, as I used to buy Xbox games from there.

I have used Envirofone in the past (I think it was them). It was hassle free and I got exactly what they said they would give me, it is important to remember that only modern & not so far out of date phones are worth anything. Any other really old ones I have had lying around I have stuck in the special charity mobile recycling envelopes and sent them off. Thumbs Up

Looks like mine is worth £23 ... suppose £23 is better than it sitting in a box rotting away ...

I normally give my dad my old phones ... but he is a bit resistant to getting new ones any more as he has to learn how to use it!! Very Happy .. hence I have had this one sitting about for about a year that I could recycle!! Smile
