I've got an SA - but I've since added the lower fairing's and panniers so its just like a GT - the lower fairing doesn't make any difference to how it rides, but looks a bit nicer, and I only got the Panniers last weekend. Its a lot of bike for the money, the motor is great, loads of torque. It's a big beast, but so am I so it suits me.

Budget on changing the seat, handlebars (funny angle), stock tyres are rubbish, exhaust end can, screen probably. Servicing costs are reasonable.

Its quite versitile, so depends what you want to do to suggest other bikes.

Mine are the panniers shown there (GIVI V35), and I've got the SW Motech Quick Detach panniers mounts - I bought them all 2nd hand from someone who sold their bandit. You can take the racks off in 30 sec's and there are just a few discreet mounting points left. There are also Suzuki and Givi Pannier mounts and top box racks - but they aren't quick release.

I do most of my riding out in the twisties, but it will tour no problem as well - might not be as sporty as something like a VFR though.

Yea they come with a bracket that puts the indicators near the rear reflector. But what most people do is cut that off cause it looks gay and mount them onto the reflector itself - I had to trim down the rubber stalks though to get mine to fit. Wiring wasn't a problem - just disconnect the plugs and moved them, then refed them through the rear fairing and plugged them back in.
