 |

It has probably been done to death, but I have used the search facility and not come up with that much.
I am considering a trip lasting 15 days, travelling through Belgium, Germany, Austria, top part of Italy, through France and home.
I would be travelling solo with tent, can anyone suggest some routes that would be feasible for a lone female to do on a 600 fazer? I intend camping every night, no hotels or hostels. ____________________ Enjoy everyday, tell those you love everyday you love them

I'm planning on doing similar in early October most probably. Thinking going in at Northern Europe, then heading through to Spain - heading towards the south probably.
I'll be on a 600(ish) but expecting my route (which I haven't researched at all yet) to be a little more off the beaten track.
Well, probably on the beated tracks mostly, but little more than that . |

does this route look do-able or will it be too much, or can anyone suggest a better route? I am getting a Michelin road map this week sometime so I can plan some rough directions to travel and roads to use. I will have 16 nights to play around with. ____________________ Enjoy everyday, tell those you love everyday you love them

Only thing that I would say is to be careful on your timing going over the Alps.
Ideally you want to go over one of the passes for the full effect. These are only 'guarenteed' to be open from late June to early September.
You may have bother if you get there late September to October - they might be shut.
Would be worth, IMO, having a couple of different passes in mind in case one is shut.
www.alpineroads.com has info on the lot. |
