Well not a problem as such, but when i first start it in the morning on the side stand with the choke about 1/4 on it idles at about 3k rpm.
If i sit on the bike (bike now upright) the idle falls off and can stall?

I can stop it from stalling by either leaning it back over to the left or upping the choke a bit more Thinking

This isn't really causing me any problems as i can either leave it on the stand for 1 minute or just ride off straight away as it only needs choke for the initial start up,but i'm just wondering if this is the start to a more serious problem?

Thanks
Dave

Just been having another search on google about this and it seems it's quite common on the zzr but no one seems to have a clue what could be causing it Confused

Any ideas?

the choke should only be used for the initial start up, if at all.

Neutral

My ZZR6 did this, and my ZX9 does as well (although the ZX needs far less choke and for much shorter time)

It never really bothered me and I doubt its something to worry about.

I tend to get moving as quickly as possible and take the choke off as I start moving..

Thumbs Up

Yup,seems to be really common, but not all the zzr's do it so i would have thought it has to point to a fault somewhere Thinking .

It's more curiosity now.

Thumbs Up
